“We are delighted to announce the conference agenda for Intermodal Europe 2024,” said Fan Landers, Event Director of Intermodal Europe. “In keeping with our theme of securing global trade, this year’s programme of talks will take a close look at the ever-evolving complexities that are currently affecting the global supply chain, emerging trends, and potential challenges, and where the opportunities lie for securing growth,” continued Landers.

The agenda will begin with a discussion on how current and emerging threats to global trade routes are impacting the global container market. The conversation will then shift to consider compliance, sustainability, AI, risk management, and trade security in further discussions.

“In addition to sector-specific sessions, this year’s agenda will also consider key learnings from other industries. For instance, we are excited to welcome a session from the European Space Agency (ESA), which will undoubtedly offer incredible insight into how space technologies can be applied to the intermodal sector as a whole, specifically its Business Applications & Space Solutions Program,” continued Landers.

Intermodal Europe 2024 is expected to attract thousands of attendees from over 60 countries, with more than 120 suppliers confirmed on the sold-out exhibition floor.
